1. What we collect

When you create an account and profile on aboutme.pk, we collect:

• Account details: name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).
• Profile content you add: bio, role, location, links, photos, and any other fields you choose to publish.
• Verification documents and details you submit for identity or business verification (e.g. name, profession, phone, address, photo, or company/representative details), used solely to review and approve your verification request.
• Usage analytics on your own profile (view counts, approximate visitor location, referral source) shown to you on your dashboard.
• Messages sent to you through your profile's contact form, including the sender's name and contact details.

2. How we use it

We use this data to operate your profile, power your analytics dashboard, review verification requests, deliver contact-form messages to you, and send account-related email (such as email verification and password resets). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. What's public

Anything you add to a published profile is public by design — that's the point of aboutme.pk. Account credentials, unpublished draft profiles, verification documents, and analytics are private and only visible to you (and, for verification review, our verification team).

4. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and cookies required for basic site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

5. Your rights

You can edit or remove any content on your profile at any time from your dashboard. To request full account deletion or a copy of your data, contact us using the details on our Contact page.

6. Changes to this policy

As aboutme.pk adds features — including formal CNIC/NTN verification and the AI Visibility reporting described on our blog — this policy will be updated to reflect what data those features collect and how it's used.
