Zia ul Quran Sulemania

Zia-ul-Quran Sulemania Lilbanat is a long-established Islamic educational and welfare institution for girls, founded in 1979 in Azam Basti, Karachi. It was established by Peer Syed Abul Hassan Shah Manzoor Hamdani with the vision of providing authentic Islamic education, moral training, shelter, and academic opportunities to girls, including orphans and children affected by hardship.

The institution combines religious and contemporary education within a safe, disciplined, and nurturing environment. Its programmes include education from nursery onward, Matric and Intermediate studies, Dars-e-Nizami and Alimah training, Nazra, Hifz, Tajweed, Qirat, Arabic, English, computer education, stitching, and practical skills development. Through this integrated approach, students are prepared to serve their faith, families, society, and humanity with knowledge, character, confidence, and compassion.

Zia-ul-Quran Sulemania Lilbanat also provides supportive facilities, including classrooms, a library, medical assistance, nutritious meals, vocational spaces, and communal areas. Religious gatherings, Quran-recitation programmes, debates, sports activities, national events, and award ceremonies further enrich student life.

Currently led by CEO Syed Ameena Hamdani, the institution continues its founder’s legacy through faith-centred education and social service. Its mission is to make Islamic learning accessible, preserve Sunni-Sufi values, support vulnerable girls, and develop educated, principled, self-reliant women capable of contributing positively to future generations. It remains committed to combining Deen, Taleem, Tarbiyat, and Khidmat in a compassionate environment rooted in the Quran and Sunnah.

Peer Syed Abul Hassan Shah Manzoor Hamdani founded Zia-ul-Quran Sulemania Lilbanat with a vision of spreading authentic Sunni Islamic teachings and making religious and academic education accessible to girls, particularly orphans and those facing hardship.

Syed Ameena Hamdani continues the institution’s founding legacy as an educator, leader, and guide. Under her leadership, the institution remains committed to faith-centred education, student welfare, character development, and the empowerment of girls through knowledge and practical skills.
