About Me

Dr. (Mufti) Imran Khan is a distinguished Islamic scholar, researcher, editor, academic and educator specializing in Seerah and Islamic Studies. As President of the Seerat Research Foundation, he provides scholarly leadership to one of the world’s largest Seerah research initiatives, directing its academic development, multilingual publications and global outreach. He has authored and edited more than 430 research articles in Urdu, English and Arabic.

He currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Hamdard University, Karachi. Previously, he taught English and Islamic Studies at NED University, Iqra University, PAF-KIET and Ziauddin University. He is also a member of the Academic Council of the Aleemiyah Institute of Islamic Studies and has contributed to curriculum development, academic coordination and institutional planning. His media work includes associations with PTV, Dunya News, ARY News, ARY QTV, A-Plus and Metro One.

Dr. Imran Khan has delivered da‘wah and educational programmes in more than 80 cities and towns across Pakistan. His distinguished service to Seerah scholarship has received formal recognition from UET Peshawar, which recommended him to the Government of Pakistan as an international ambassador of Islam, and from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony for exceptional scholarly and educational contributions.
